Elizabeth Safran, nee Altman, is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation practice group, representing a variety of clients in copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property matters. She regularly counsels clients on copyright registration and enforcement, as well as assisting clients with trademark issues, including U.S. trademark portfolio management and prosecution.

Elizabeth earned her J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Information Law. While in law school, she interned with CDAS, the Honorable Ona T. Wang, Christie’s Auction House, and Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She also served as an editor and research assistant to Professor Shlomit Yansky-Ravid concerning an article she co-wrote on artificial intelligence, bias and the need for a modification of the current copyright regime to accommodate new AI technology.
