ropfest New York (and Tropfest International), the world’s largest short film festival, is now open for entries through Thursday, May 10, 2012.
Finalists will be screened in Bryant Park, Saturday June 23rd.
Tropfest is free to attend. The festival is an outdoor celebration complete with live music and entertainment, red carpet arrivals, and highly anticipated film screenings, followed by an awards ceremony.
Founded 20 years ago in Sydney, Australia, Tropfest is supported by some of the biggest international film stars, and in Australia attracts a live national audience of more than 150,000 people on a single night with live satellite links to outdoor locations throughout the country. Over the years Tropfest has spread from country to country including the recently launched Tropfest in Abu Dhabi.
