Pooneh Aminian

Pooneh Aminian is a transactional attorney in the firm’s Entertainment practice group. She counsels clients on entertainment and media law matters, and has considerable experience negotiating deals and drafting agreements for talent and companies in the television (scripted and unscripted), film, digital media, and video game industries.

Pooneh works with studios, production companies, and joint ventures, primarily negotiating development and rights acquisitions deals. Pooneh also serves as production counsel for television and film productions. She has worked as a designated guild liaison and handled a significant number of credit-related issues arising under the collective bargaining agreements of WGA, SAG-AFTRA, DGA, and IATSE for theatrical, television, and new media productions.

Pooneh takes the time to understand the needs of each client. She uses her experience working within the largest entertainment studios and agencies in the world to advocate for the companies and individuals she works with.  Pooneh keeps a close eye on what is going on in the entertainment industry, and takes a break from Hollywood by consuming manga and graphic novels, and watching anime series.
