Calvin Mohammadi is a transactional attorney in the firm’s Entertainment practice group, with a primary focus on television and film transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at Jenner & Block and DLA Piper, counseling television and motion picture studios, advertising agencies and multi-national brands on a variety of branded entertainment transactions, including preparing and negotiating celebrity sponsorship and endorsement deals. He also advised clients on scripted and unscripted television and digital media production matters, and copyright, trademark, publicity and other intellectual property licensing issues.
He obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, with a concentration on intellectual property. While in law school, he served as an articles editor on the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law, as well as a board member of the Queer Caucus, and participated in the alternative dispute resolution/negotiations program.
