“American Gypsies” Tuesdays at 9pm on National Geographic

rom Executive Producer Ralph Macchio and CDAS client Stick Figure Productions, comes American Gypsies, an intimate portrayal of the Johnses, a Romani family, and their effort to preserve age-old customs amid the vices of New York City, while upholding their family’s place in the community and expanding their psychic shop empire.

Here in the course of nine episodes of this brand new series, cameras have been allowed unprecedented access into the Romani, or Gypsy community as we follow the Johnses and explore the Romani’s rules, traditions and rich cultural heritage. American Gypsies airs Tuesdays at 9pm EST on National Geographic and premieres July 17th. (It is also available on-demand, on iTunes and Amazon). Frederick P.
