teven A. Werier will speak and moderate at the “Sports & Entertainment Law Primer” at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, on Monday, November 19. This panel for law students will feature lawyers and agents from the sports and entertainment industries and will cover a variety of issues faced by practitioners in the field in both the U.S. and Canada.
Mr. Werier practices in the areas of transactional corporate, sports and entertainment, and media law. He has worked with clients including leading television and radio personalities, musicians, authors, professional sports leagues and teams as well as a variety of startups, digital media companies and mobile app developers. Mr. Werier is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, where he was president of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society.
