Katherine Wilcox is a transactional attorney in CDAS’s Entertainment Group. Katherine is based at the firm’s New York office, where she counsels clients on entertainment law, intellectual property, and corporate formation matters, primarily in the television, film, digital media, music, and literary publishing sectors. Katherine has experience in a broad range of matters including rights acquisition, development, production, sales, distribution, financing, and other intellectual property issues.
Prior to joining CDAS, Katherine completed several internships with entertainment companies including Sesame Workshop, Sony Music Entertainment, NBCUniversal, and also served as a clinician with the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy (BLIP) Clinic, which offers pro bono legal services to entrepreneurs and pre-revenue startups, largely in the technology, communications, and new media spaces.
