Daniel J. Haley is a transactional entertainment lawyer, whose practice spans theatre, film, music, and digital media. Daniel has represented producers, institutional theaters, authors, actors, talent agencies, and artists in complex negotiations.
Daniel’s services include the formation and financing of production companies, as well as the drafting and negotiation of author agreements, underlying rights agreements, distribution agreements, and all agreements associated with all levels of theatre production and feature films. Daniel also has experience advising clients on copyright and branding issues.
Prior to joining CDAS, Daniel was an associate at Farber Law LLC, a boutique entertainment firm. Daniel has produced several independent films and authored an article concerning intellectual property issues published in the Spring 2016 volume of the Cardozo Journal of Law & Gender.
