Caitlin S. DiMotta

Caitlin S. DiMotta began her career as an entertainment and business lawyer in 2006. She passionately represents the interests of artists, writers, personalities and creators. She has worked with clients on matters including the acquisition and licensing of media properties; option, development, and publishing agreements in the television, literary, comic book/graphic novel and motion picture industries. Her breadth of experience in a variety of entertainment mediums, formats and genres enables Caitlin to identify and address potential issues before they become problems. Her proactive approach to legal representation ensures her clients’ peace of mind.

Caitlin works closely with each client to understand their goals and objectives in order to provide the highest level of support and advocacy. She develops authentic relationships with her clients, enabling her to take a long-term view of their business and legal matters. She was a recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for Excellence in Business and Corporate Law and has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers every year since 2013.

Caitlin’s interest in the world of arts and entertainment is grounded in her personal experience, She enjoyed a decade-long career as a professional dancer, performing with national and international dance companies and freelancing for nationally renowned choreographers. Caitlin is a member of the bar in California, Washington, and New Mexico.
