Alison E. Bensimon is an associate in the firm’s Entertainment practice group. Prior to joining CDAS, Alison was an entertainment associate in the New York office of Dembitzer & Dembitzer LLP, where she served as production counsel representing production companies for a number of unscripted television series.
Alison graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she obtained her J.D. While at Loyola, Alison served as an associate editor for the Loyola University of Chicago International Law Review where she published her note “Corporate Liability Under The Alien Tort Statute: Can Corporations Have Their Cake and Eat it Too?”. Alison also obtained her LL.M. at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Intellectual Property with a specialization in entertainment law.
During and prior to law school, she spent several years working in the entertainment industry, including positions at William Morris Endeavor, ZoCo Productions where she worked on television series “The Dr. Oz Show”, Harpo Productions where she worked on the OWN television series “The Rosie Show”, DMF Law Inc. where she worked on the MTV television series “The Jersey Shore”, Vogue Magazine and Teen Vogue Magazine.
